objectives
The course aims to promote specific training in
the field of streetwear, recognizing contemporary fashion and its design
cultures the ability to intertwine elements that belong to the history of
formal clothing with elements from areas such as sportswear and urbanwear, collecting the challenges and changes suggested
by new technologies and by the horizon of the ecological transition. The master
is made in collaboration with Slam
Jam. The course aims to complete the training
of the professional figure of the designer, able to work in style offices and
in advertising, commercial and cultural contexts of fashion, with particular
attention to the realities connected with streetwear and urbanwear
(in particular collaborator artistic direction of a brand; member of the
collection design and development team; production collaborator; research and
communication assistant).
Among the teachings of the master, which also
includes a compulsory internship: elements of sportswear and streetwear;
Publishing for fashion and visual culture; Tailoring and streetwear; Textile
design and new materials; Archive design and practices (Slam Jam archive);
Industrial production and ecological transition.
