LAUNCHING A COLLABORATION

Undergraduate and graduate programmes offered by the University iuav of Venice:

There are three ways you can collaborate with us:

– via memorandum of understanding

– via official agreement

– via letter of intent

memorandum of understanding

The Memorandum of Understanding is a framework agreement that is signed between Università Iuav di Venezia and other institutions. It is based on a principle of mutual cooperation and features basic agreement contents.

It is a simple statement of intent on the specific activities that the signatory parties will jointly carry out during the period of validity of the agreement itself:

– collaboration in design development

– coordinated educational activities

– seminars, meetings, shows, and exhibitions

– documentation and publication exchanges

It has no implementation value: for the programming and execution of each of activities mentioned above, it refers to a specific agreement that must be signed between the parties.

The Memorandum of Understanding must be drawn up in Italian and in the foreign language of any other signing party, according to the template made available on this page. Fill out the blanks without modifying the content of the document.

Our Postgraduate specialisation office will then proceed to:

– submit the proposal to the Academic Senate and Board of Directors

– submit the proposal for contractual subscription with the rector’s signature

– forward the proposal to the counterparty of the agreement

official agreement

Differently from the memorandum of understanding, official agreements go into the details of the activities, defining the responsible contact people, the objectives, the agreement content, the procedures, the duration, and the available financial resources.

The minimum content of the agreement includes:

– the responsible contact people

– a description of the activities

– the various deadlines

– the financial resources

The agreement is then submitted for approval to the university Administrative Bodies.

Our Postgraduate specialisation office will:

– submit the proposal to the Academic Senate and Board of Directors

– submit the proposal for contractual subscription with the rector’s signature

– forward the proposal to the counterparty of the agreement.

Agreements must be delivered to the Postgraduate specialisation office.
