PROJECTWORK

Undergraduate and graduate programmes offered by the University iuav of Venice:

Postgraduate students, in order to obtain the final title, are required to attend at least 70% of the total hours of internship for the course they are enrolled in.

Instead of the internship, Postgraduate students can choose the possibility to do a project work, that is a research experience with the aim of implementing on the ground the skills acquired during the hours of lesson time, in order to learn new ones.

In particular, it refers to a project and experimental experience focusing on a real case-study.

The opportunity to do a project work is thought for working students (or for those ones that for particular reasons can’t do an internship) for helping them with the working time and the activities of the Postgraduate Specialisation Programme they are enrolled in.

Postgraduate Courses last about one year, so the project work must be carried out during this time and must end 15 days prior the date of the final exam.

The steps to activate the project work are the following ones:

> before starting a project work

– it is important to discuss the item of the project work with the scientific head of the Postgraduate Specialisation Programme;

– after that, the student must send to master@iuav.it the document with the description of the item as the facsimile example available >> here – Word format or here – .pdf format, approved and signed by the scientific head of the Postgraduate Specialisation Programme, the student and the company tutor.

> after the end of the project work

– once ending the period of the project work, the student must send to master@iuav.it the final report of the experience, signed by the scientific head of the Postgraduate Specialisation Programme, as the facsimile example available >> here – Word format or here – .pdf format.

The final report must be sent 15 days prior the date of the final exam.
