Who can apply

 

To be admitted to the bachelor’s degree in planning and urban design, applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

a) a five-year or four-year secondary (high) school diploma

b) a secondary (high) school diploma awarded by an international upper secondary education institution. More information on the procedures to be followed are described in the section dedicated to international qualifications

c) a degree awarded by the Italian Republic, an international bachelor's degree, or a diploma awarded by European schools.

How to apply

 

To apply for the bachelor’s degree in planning and urban design, candidates shall follow these instructions:

a) register on Iuav Online Desk in order to receive a username and a password

b) log in and follow the online application procedure (“Student services” > “Applications”). and upload all the required documents

c) non-EU applicants residing abroad are also required to pre-enrol online on the Universitaly portal (international students > pre-enrol now)

Admission test

 

EU and EU-equated applicants are not required to take an admission test.

 

Non-EU applicants residing abroad will have to take an online Italian language test in the following periods:

- from 26 to 30 June 2023 for those who apply by 21 June 2023

- from 24 to 28 July 2023 for those who apply from 22 June to 21 July 2023

- on 15 September 2023 for those who apply from 22 July to 13 September 2023

The detailed schedule will be communicated to the applicants in due time.

 

If the number of non-EU applicants residing abroad exceeds the number of available places, they will also have to attend an interview aimed at assessing their communication skills and their ability to explain their interest and the motivations to the relevant study programme.

In this case, a note will be published on the dedicated webpage [ITA] and interviews will be held online on 15 September 2023.

Fee payment and pre-enrolment

 

Admitted applicants are required to pre-enrol from 18 to 20 September 2023 on the Online Desk (“Student services” > “Enrolment”), and pay the first instalment of the enrolment fee through the PagoPA system.

Applicants will receive an enrolment form

to be signed and dated, that will be necessary to complete the enrolment procedure.

Enrolment

 

From 18 to 20 September 2023, applicants with an Italian qualification are required to print, sign and date the enrolment form and upload a scanned copy in the personal area of the Online Desk in the “enrolment/manage attachments” section. Their enrolment will be completed remotely.

 

Applicants with an international qualification are required to complete their enrolment in person upon their arrival in Italy (and, in any case, from 18 to 28 September 2023), by booking an appointment with the admission service and bring the hard copies of all required documents [ITa]
