Campobasso
The National University Championships are the most important sports
event in Italy for university students.
The best athletes between 18 and 28 years of age will compete in
various sports disciplines as representative of the university sports centre of
reference (CUS) and their university.
The competitions involve the following sports:
team sports: men's and
women's volleyball
individual sports:
boxing, taekwondo, judo, karate, tennis, fencing, target shooting, athletics, table
tennis, wrestling, skeet shooting, canoeing, kayaking, and rowing.
The list of disciplines may be updated with optional ones (e.g. chess) chosen
by FederCUSI shortly.
