Career Day 2026

Career Day is the University’s annual event that allows students and graduates to connect with the professional world. It’s a unique opportunity to make yourself known and discover internship or job opportunities from companies and firms participating on the day of the event.

In preparation for Career Day, you can participate in Career Labs—sessions designed to help you better understand the professional world and prepare your application.

The 2026 edition will take place on November 11, 2026, at the Iuav Terese campus, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

How to Register

Registration is open from October 21 to anyone currently enrolled or who has earned a degree from the Iuav University of Venice.

You can register through the AlmaLaurea portal by following these steps:
– Go directly to the event page and select the “Update Your Resume and Register” option;
– If you already have AlmaLaurea credentials, you’ll be asked to update your resume; updating it is extremely important because companies will only receive your resume in the AlmaLaurea format. Remember that a CV that is fully up-to-date will increase your chances of being selected by companies for an interview.

Only if you’re having trouble registering for the event through the AlmaLaurea portal should you fill out the general registration form: you’ll still be able to attend Career Day and introduce yourself to the law firms, companies, and agencies in attendance.

How the Interviews Will Take Place

Once you’ve registered for the event through the AlmaLaurea portal, you’ll need to access “Choose and Meet Companies.” You can send your AlmaLaurea resume to the companies and firms you’re interested in by selecting “Request an Interview.” 

The companies will review your application, and if they’re interested, they may schedule an introductory meeting with you on the day of the event.

In the “Agenda and Waiting Room” section of AlmaLaurea, you’ll find the names of all the companies or firms to which you’ve sent your resume. 

Remember that companies can view the resumes of registered candidates and may contact you in the days leading up to the event to invite you to an interview. 

Always check your email inbox and your spam folder.

All interviews will take place in person on November 11 at the Iuav Terese campus in Venice.

Companies will give priority to interviews scheduled through the platform.

How to Participate in the Event and Attend Interviews 

On the day of the event, after checking in at the registration desk in the entrance lobby, you can go directly to the desks of the companies you’re interested in and attend your interview when it’s your turn. 
You’ll find all the interviews scheduled for Career Day by going to the “Agenda and Waiting Room” section on AlmaLaurea, where you’ll see the list. 

By registering for the Iuav Career Day, you can still participate even if you don’t have any interviews scheduled.

If you haven’t been contacted for an interview before the event, don’t worry—access to the company booths is open to all registered participants. When a recruiter becomes available, you can approach the booths of the companies and firms you’re interested in directly, although priority will be given to interviews scheduled through the platform.

On the day of Career Day, we recommend that you bring an updated and customized hard copy of your resume to hand out to the companies you’re interested in.
