Iuav team
paddles to the podium at the dragon boat race of the Venetian departments
On Thursday, 27 April
2023, a dragon boat race took place on the Venice Lagoon between the
departments of Università Iuav di Venezia, Ca' Foscari University of Venice and
Venice International University.
Iuav team - against
seven others and without ever having competed together - won the battery, then
went head-to-head for second and first place in the A final and then won third
place.
The twelve athletes,
including several Erasmus students, study architecture, design and urban
planning: Ajit Brar, Veronica Berti, Eloi Cahís I Reixach, Samuele Della
Pietra, Giovanna Deltregia Martinelli, Giulio Fanni, Lorenzo
Freire-Stella,Ondine Kapala, Shurui Li, Néla Mariani, Pablo Tovar Navarro,
