universities in the world for Art History

excellent result for Universitā Iuav di Venezia in QS
World University Ranking by Times Higher Education.
The
2023 edition of the QS World University Ranking includes the field of Art History
for the first time and places Universitā Iuav di Venezia in 18th place. Iuav is
still among the world's top 100 universities in the Architecture and Planning
sector.
QS
World University Ranking
is the most consulted global university ranking published by QS Quacquarelli
Symonds, ans is a key-reference for prospective students.
Iuav is ranked 18th among the best universities
in the world in the Art History sector, which is part of the ranking for the first
time.
This result
rewards the consolidated tradition of historical studies and visual arts, which,
together with design, fashion, theatre and performing arts, have become a key-feature
of the university educational offer.
Iuav
maintains its position in the top 100
for the Architecture and Built Environment, ranking third in Italy, after the Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di
Torino, and on par with Universitā La Sapienza. It moves up the ranking in the Arts
and Design sector, ranking between 101 and 150.
This year,
1,500 universities in 93 countries were included in the QS World University
Ranking by subject. The ranking assesses the reputational aspect and 13
performance indicators grouped into 5 macro-areas.
Italy ranks
third in Europe for the number of appearances in the top ten and its position
is improving annually.
