The internship, as underlined in the study programme (Manifesto degli Studi), is an optional activity of 200 hours and allows the recognition of 6 university credits (cfu).

 

The internship can be carried out in university laboratories, research structures, companies, public entities, or professional studios with an agreement with Università Iuav di Venezia.

Students can also independently identify the host institution upon validation from the School’s Board.

 

The university tutor – the School’s Director - may advise students on the choice of the host institution. A company tutor will assist during the internship. Both tutors are in charge of evaluating and signing the training project and supervising the internship in all the different phases.

 

The steps to activate the internship are the same for all students, and the office of reference is the career service office (tirocinio@iuav.it).

 

Students are required to attend at least 70% of the total hours of the internship.

 

The internship is validated once the students send the following final documentation  >>:

- attendance register

- host institution report

- student report.

 

These documents must be sent to the School’s secretariat (ssibap@iuav.it) and the Director as soon as the internship is finished, and, in any case, no later than 15 days before the final exam.  Without these documents, the office cannot recognise and certify the internship and validate the recognition of the university credits (CFU).
