Maurizio Zampollo Textile Technologist and Educator

Maurizio Zampollo is a textile technician with over 30 years of industry experience. He began his career in a Verona-based wool company, mastering all stages of production from weaving to quality control. In 2001, he co-founded Denim Area, a studio renowned for creating premium fabrics on vintage 1950s looms, later acquired by Berto Industria Tessile, where he led Research and Development. Today, Maurizio works as a freelance expert and educator, teaching textile product science at the Art School in Trento and NABA in Milan, sharing his deep technical knowledge and passion for innovation with future designers.
