This seminar explores the transformative potential of data and digital technologies in reimagining the relationship between cities, nature, and human wellbeing. From redefining natural capital in urban contexts to examining the real impacts of biophilic design on health through virtual reality, the talks will present innovative approaches to urban planning and design. Case studies such as Barcelona demonstrate how data can drive meaningful spatial and policy changes, while experimental methodologies offer new ways to quantify the benefits of integrating nature into urban life. Together, these perspectives invite a critical reflection on how we can shape more resilient, inclusive, and health-oriented urban futures.
