Towards a new geography of risk – Miracle
Book presentation
TU Delft, IDE – Hans Dirken, 34.D – 1–810, Delft, Hall O
Miracle tells the story of 18 months of research, a journey along the Italian coasts shaped by encounters, stories, experiences, visions and perceptions. A journey through ports, lagoons, deltas, rivers and fragile territories, where water does not separate but connects, and every threshold becomes a space of continuous transformation. Miracle speaks about metabolism, heritage, public space, economies and maritime practices. But above all, it invites us to rethink risk not as a technical matter, but as a lived condition shaped by relationships, perceptions and emotions. The book presentation is an invitation to think water as experience: a living material moving across bodies, landscapes and imaginaries, continuously shifting between states, scales and conditions.
