Terrain Lab 2026 continues its exploration of the Venice Lagoon, one of the world’s most fragile intertidal ecosystems, shaped through centuries of environmental transformation and human intervention. 
This edition engages with the concept of Rights of Nature, positioning the workshop as a platform to explore how emerging ecological and legal frameworks, the evolving Declaration of the Rights of the Venice Lagoon, can be spatialised, interpreted, and critically developed through design.  
The workshop is organised by AA London in collaboration with Università Iuav di Venezia and TU Delft, fostering a shared platform for research, experimentation and cross-disciplinary exchanges.
