Quantifying Health Impacts of Urban Nature: Observational and Experimental Approaches
Jie Yin Tongji University
Dr. Yin is an Associate Professor and Assistant Department Chair at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University and Deputy Director of the Center for Healthy City Planning and Governance, Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. He holds a Ph.D. in population health sciences, an S.M. in environmental health from Harvard University, and an M.Eng. degree in urban planning and design from Tongji University. He was a Yerby postdoctoral fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. His research interests lie in the cross-disciplinary urban planning and environmental health field, including healthy cities, biophilic design, and environmental psychology. He has been funded by several national grants and selected for the Shanghai Overseas High-level Talents Program. He has published 28 journal articles and two book chapters. He has been a reviewer for 20 journals and a committee member for six academic organizations.
