STUDIO 1: Curating in Intercultural Perspective

OPEN LAB presents the outcomes of student projects developed within STUDIO 1: Curating in Intercultural Perspectives, part of the MA in Curating Arts and Heritage in Intercultural Perspectives.

Divided into eleven groups, students developed concrete exhibition proposals through curatorial research and exhibition-making. Each project takes shape through an architectural maquette, conceived as an ideal exhibition environment, alongside visual materials and written texts, articulating original curatorial responses to different contexts and conditions.

Each group presents an evolving proposition, where the exhibition is conceived not only as a format of display, but as a space for dialogue, negotiation, and the unfolding of multiple perspectives.

The presentation offers a public encounter with multiple ways of thinking, imagining, and making exhibitions today.
