Quattro conversazioni sull’architettura, quattro racconti, quattro esperienze che raccontano la dimensione del fare. 
Tornano all’Università Iuav di Venezia le November talks, il Ciclo di Conferenze, organizzato insieme a Sto Stiftung e con il patrocinio d ell’Ordine degli Archittetti PPC della Provincia di Venezia, in cui architetti e studi di architettura diconsolidata esperienza professionale provenienti da ogni parte del mondo presentano il loro approccio al mestiere e ai suoi cambiamenti generati dalle urgenti questioni ambientali e urbane, nonché dalla rivoluzione digitale che modifica profondamente il modo in cui si comunica l’architettura. 
Da quest’anno la serie delle November Talks si avvale della partecipazione del Dottorato di Composizione dello Iuav. Ideate dalla fondazione Sto Stiftung che le supporta economicamente, le November Talks si svolgono contemporaneamente in diverse sedi universitarie in Europa, con ospiti specifici per ciascuna sede. Lo Iuav di Venezia le include nella offerta formativa libera con diritto a ottenere 2 cfu tipologia D previo svolgimento dell’attività formativa di seguito specificata.

Beniamino Servino (IT), Catarina Almada Negreiros (PT), Javier Corvalan (PY), Ricardo Bak Gordon (PT) sono gli ospiti dell’edizione November Talks, intitolata “Le esperienze del Fare”. Alle tradizionali quattro conferenze per le Iuav November Talks si aggiunge da quest’anno una conferenza promossa dal dottorato in Composizione Architettonica.

Di seguito gli appuntamenti che si terranno presso l’aula Magna dell’Università Iuav di Venezia:

Le iscrizioni avverranno esclusivamente attraverso il Google form che sarà attivato su questa pagina e saranno chiuse una volta esauriti i posti a disposizione.

Richieste per gli studenti per l’ottenimento di 2 cfu
Agli studenti interessati sarà garantito il riconoscimento di 2 cfu tipologia D purché:
– risultino regolarmente iscritti al ciclo di conferenze tramite il Google form che sarà attivato su questa pagina
– abbiano preso parte a tutte e quattro le conferenze e per questo verranno prese le firme in aula
– forniscano alla docenza una breve tesina (Layout fornito dal corpo docente) corredata da schizzi e foto. La tesina nel complesso potrà avere una lunghezza compresa tra le 12.000 e le 16.000 battute ed essere contenuta in un pdf di10 megabyte da caricare sul Drive
– partecipino al colloquio sugli argomenti, con la docenza. Il colloquio è previsto nel mese di dicembre in data che verrà indicata alla fine delle conferenze.

Four conversations on architecture, four stories, four experiences that recount the dimension of ‘making’. 
The November Talks are back at the Università Iuav di Venezia. The series of conferences organised in collaboration with Sto Stiftung and with the partnership of the Ordine degli Architetti PPC della Provincia di Venezia, in which architects and architectural firms with important professional experience from all over the world present their approach to the practice and its changes generated by urgent environmental and urban issues, as well as by the digital revolution that is profoundly changing the way architecture is communicated. From this year onwards, the November Talks series will benefit from the participation of the Iuav PhD programme in “Composizione archittonica”. Conceived by the Sto Stiftung foundation, which provides financial support, the November Talks take place simultaneously at various universities across Europe, with specific guests for each location. The Università Iuav di Venezia includes the conferences in its free educational offering, with the option to obtain 2 type D credits upon completion of the educational activity specified below.

Beniamino Servino (IT), Catarina Almada Negreiros (PT), Javier Corvalan (PY) and Ricardo Bak Gordon (PT) are the guests of the November Talks edition, entitled “The Experiences of Doing”. In addition to the traditional four conferences for the Iuav November Talks, this year there will be a conference promoted by the PhD programme in “Composizione Architettonica”.

Registrations will be possible only through the Google form that will be activated on this page and will be closed once all available places have been filled.

Requirement for students to obtain 2 cfu type D.
Interested students will receive 2 cfu type D provided that
– sign up for the lecture series through the Google forms that will be activated on this webpage
– attend all the lectures and for this, signatures will be taken in the lecture hall
– submit a short paper (Layout provided by the teaching team) with sketches and photos of the lecturer’s design projects. Language Italian and English. The thesis as a whole may be between 12,000 and 16,000 characters long and must be in a 10-megabyte PDF file to be uploaded to Drive.
– participate in the discussion on the topics with the teaching staff. The exam is scheduled for December on a date that will be indicated at the end of the lectures.
