What happens when we touch a surface and let it touch us? In the first part of the lesson, by exploring the surface as a space of relationships between humans, materials, and the environment, the focus is on the expressive-sensory qualities of materials and on sensory gradients as a method for designing surfaces.
The second part of the lesson, in a collaborative workshop, leads to the creation of visual-tactile boards as fashion design moodboards.
