Lecture Performance

Tamar Levit & Yaën Levi are fashion practitioners based in Brussels, working at the intersection of fashion, design research, and performance. Their studio explores how personal, social, and political systems are shaped through clothing. Through long-term investigations, they trace the histories and appearances of wearables focusing on the often-overlooked common practice of wearing.

The lecture performance offers an unguided tour through the studio’s ongoing research-in-practice. Fashion is unfolded through six liminal elements, interweaving experiences, narratives, and poetics followed by a live screencast of audiovisual material mapping their process and visual archive.
