Seminar organised and introduced by Lucia Rosin, in the context of Fashion Material Design Studio. 
Berto produces high quality denim fabrics for important Italian and international fashion brands. The company was founded in 1887 in Bovolenta (PD) and it is still run by the fourth generation of the Berto family. The production still takes place in the historic factories so it is part of the Italian Fashion value chain. We could define Berto as a contemporary craftsman: technicality and manual skills combined with the knowledge acquired over time give life to innovative, high quality and sustainable products.
