Openining cerimony – students' project exhibitions
The Ventotene project
Curated by Marco Provinciali and Angelica Stern
This exhibition is dedicated to the outcomes of Sebastiano Fabbrini's teaching activities: exercises and student projects from the Jean Monnet Module workshops in 2022 and 2023, and within the “Architettura e spazio della scena“ (academic year 2023/2024) laboratory.
99n+1 Boîte à Miracles Tirreniche
Curated by Giulia Conti and Alessandro Virgilio Mosetti
This exhibition is composed by the outcomes of the Jean Monnet Module workshop (2024) coordinated by professor Gundula Rakowitz (65 hours in total). The project 99 n+1 eyes, reimagined for the Ventotene–Santo Stefano system, expanded the possibilities of vision and narrative. It sought to reweave spatial and symbolic connections, framing these places as theatrical stages where past, present, and future converge. Special attention was given to the European significance of Ventotene—as the symbolic birthplace of postwar European unity—reinforcing the module’s mission to integrate design education with the values and history of European integration.
h 17.45 > 18.30
At the end of the event, we will gather for a commemorative toast to pay tribute to Sebastiano, whose legacy lives in our scientific and teaching approach
