The Iuav University of Venice promotes internationalization through Double Degree (DD) programs, developed in collaboration with partner universities. These programs offer students the opportunity to follow an integrated academic path and obtain two officially recognized degrees.

A Double Degree program is an integrated study path, jointly designed by the Iuav University of Venice and a partner university and regulated by a specific bilateral agreement.

Students enrolled in a DD program:

• follow a shared study plan agreed upon by both institutions;
• spend study periods at both universities, with predefined duration and content;
• benefit from mutual recognition of exams and other academic activities (such as workshops, etc.).

Upon successful completion of the program and final assessments, students are awarded two academic degrees issued by the two institutions.

Mobility rules, academic requirements, and study plans are defined by the agreement established between Iuav and each partner university. Active and past agreements are available on the Iuav website dedicated to international partnerships.

Double Degree programs involve mobility for a full academic year (2 semesters).

• Access to Double Degree mobility is subject to annual selection calls published by the Global Learning Office.
• During the mobility period, students generally receive a scholarship assigned by Iuav University, calculated based on the duration of the stay at the host institution (usually up to a maximum of 10 consecutive months).
• A fundamental requirement for participating in outgoing Double Degree mobility is having earned a sufficient number of university credits (60 CFU) before the start of mobility.
• It is recommended to complete the internship before the mobility period, in order to avoid overlaps between work and courses at the host institution and to prevent excessive workload during the stay abroad. Please note that internships must always be activated through the Career Service.

The program does not provide health insurance: beneficiaries are responsible for arranging their own health coverage during the mobility period abroad.
