Iuav students are eligible to apply for the benefits and fee waivers provided under the Student Aid Law, provided they meet the merit-based criteria and income limits established by law.

If you meet certain income requirements (based on the ISEE for financial aid for higher education) and/or merit-based criteria, you may be eligible for a fee waiver.

To qualify for the ISEE-based fee waiver, you have 

• to submit an ISEE of lower than 60,000 euros for each academic year of enrollment,;
• follow the required procedures (including submit – annually - the sel-certification on your SPIN and be enrolled in the academic year);
• and meet the specifi academic requirements.

Fee waivers based exclusively on merit-based criteria are applied automatically.

Iuav’s tuition system sets a maximum amount of 2,806.18 euros for the annual tuition fee, to which 16 euros in stamp duty and 192 euros in regional tax must be added, with two ISEE thresholds: up to 30,000 euros and up to 60,000 euros.

For the 2026/2027 academic year, students belonging to a household whose Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE) does not exceed 26,000 euros (no-tax area) are fully exempt from the tuition fee.
These decisions expand the pool of students who are exempt from tuition fees and those who are eligible for or have been granted scholarships.

The reductions apply to students completing each level of their degree program for the first time. 

Deadlines

• Apply to the call for applications via the SPIN online portal by September 30, 2026
• Submission of the DSU by September 30, 2026
• Pay the first installment:
  – by September 15, 2026 for students enrolled in years following the first 
  – by the deadline specified in the admission announcement for first-year students
  – by December 18, 2026 for students enrolled in the first year of a master’s program who, as of September 30, 2026 are expected to graduate
• Exceptions (all other deadlines are confirmed and cannot be extended)
  – Isee Parificato IPU by October 10, 2026

Who apply as an "Off site student" must upload the documentation proving the off-site status to the designated form:

• by 12.00 p.m. on October 9, 2026 (first period) for proper placement on the final ranking list 
• by 12.00 p.m. on November 15, 2026 (second period)

• Provisional by October 2026
• Final by November 2026
• Reformulated by May 2027

Payment

• First installment for students granted of the scholarship, by December, 31 2026
• First and second installment for Phd students who have been granted of the scholarship by December, 31 2026
• Second installment for students who have been granted of the scholarship and enrolled in their first-year, who obtained 20 creditsby May,15 2027, will be paid by June 30, 2027
• First installment for new students who have been granted of the scholarship after the publication of the reformulated rankings, by June 30, 2027
• Second installment for students who have been granted of the scholarship and enrolled in years following the first, by June, 30 2027
• Second installment for students who have been granted of the scholarship and enrolled in their first-year, who obtained 20 credits after May,15 2027 and by August,10 2027, will be paid by September 30, 2027

   – A) without any late fee if the application is submitted by 12.00 PM on December 18, 2026 
   – B) with a late fee of 200 euros if the application is submitted from December 19, 2026 to 12.00 PM of March 18, 2027
   – C) with a late fee of 500 euros if the application is submitted from March 19, 2027 to 12.00 PM on May 5, 2027
