Homo Faber is a cultural initiative, promoted by Michelangelo Foundation, aimed at highlighting
the true value of art and high craftsmanship.
Established in 2018, Homo Faber will take place in
Venice at Fondazione Giorgio Cini on September 2024.
The selected participants will have
the opportunity to collaborate as cultural mediators in the exhibition spaces and showcase their enthusiasm for craft
to visitors of Homo Faber 2024 ”The Journey of life”. The event will take
place in Venice at the Giorgio Cini Foundation from 1 to 30 September 2024.
They will bring the event to life by
welcoming visitors, informally engaging with them, share stories behind each space
and object, and help them connect to the artisans.
An enriching cultural experience, the Young
Ambassadors Programme is a unique opportunity for students to work in a
international context and meet designers, artisans and creative students from
across the world and to forge new connections.

70 talented creative individuals willing to spend 6 weeks in Venice,
role and mission during the programme will be:

Application
requirements:
– be regularly
enrolled at the Università Iuav di Venezia in a Bachelor or Master’s degree
course in the field of design
– maximum age limit
of 35 years
– fluent in
English and Italian (A2 level minimum), other language a plus
– not having participated in more than one edition of the programme
– strong people skills
– motivated by trasmission and passionate about
people
– available from mid-August to early October (18 August to 1 October 2024)

credits
At the end of the experience 1 ECTS
(“F typology”) will be assigned to the selected students coming
from Bachelor or
Master’s in Product, visual communication and Interior design
and from Bachelor in Design (Vicenza).
