European
Hackathon – 2nd Edition
The promotion
and orientation service offers the possibility to Iuav
students to participate in the European Hackathon led by Gustave Eiffel
University with the support of France
and AFIT
France.
The
programme will focus on: “How to support behavioural changes for more sustainable
mobility?”
Participants
will work in teams with students from other disciplines and countries and have
the chance to deepen their knowledge with experts and make the final pitch to
an international jury.
Students
are expected to have an interest in mobility issues and, more broadly, in all
the elements that can influence the mobility practices of goods and travellers
and are related to service supply, urban or residential planning, commercial or
employment geography as well as the psychological and cognitive characteristics
of individuals. The hackathon is therefore aimed not only at mobility
specialists but also at students capable of shedding light on the environments
(economic, geographical, sociological, psychological, technical, etc.) of
mobility.
At the end
of the event, the three winning teams will get an invitation to show their
projects to a panel of specialists in the field and representatives of European
infrastructure funding agencies.
The
programme includes two team video conferences to define the project and three
days of in-person meetings in Paris in March. The entire path will be held in
English.
