The Placement Service at Università Iuav di Venezia is offering an in-person training day led by Dr Elisabeth “Elle” Weingraber-Pircher, Learning and Development Consultant.
The aim of the workshop is to develop cultural sensitivity and self-awareness, based on the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (DMIS), developed by sociologist Milton J. Bennett.

The event, scheduled for Tuesday 14 July, will take place in person at Badoer, Aula Tafuri, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
The online follow-up session after six months allows participants to reflect on real experiences, insights gained, and unexpected learnings.
The date and time of this online session will be communicated to participants via email.
The workshop is reserved for students selected for an international exchange programme and international students.
An open badge will be given to certify the skills acquired at the end of the programme.

The Placement Service will contact and confirm only those students who are accepted to participate in the workshop – in order of registration.
Confirmation will be requested via email from the first 35 students who registered.
