Iuav student senate is the representative body of all students enrolled in Iuav Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. 20 representatives at a maximum are elected by Iuav student community every two years. The student senate is an advisory body to the academic senate and the administration council on teaching, student services and initiatives.

The student senate organises many cultural activities (exhibitions, conferences, performances, etc.) to foster the sense of community and promote networking and socialisation. Every year all students can participate in a call for ideas to organise cultural activities funded directly by the student senate. 

The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is one of the most important student associations in Europe.

Founded in 1989 as a non-profit organisation, ESN supports and promotes international mobility by providing students with opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development according to the principle of ‘Students Helping Students’. 

ESN Venezia was created in July 2011. Through an exciting schedule of activities and events, ESN Venezia actively promotes international students’ integration and international mobility programmes.
