How: by completing the following steps (see the step-by-step guides at the bottom of this page):

1. Registration
   You will receive a username and password to use for every future access. If you are already registered, do not make a new registration.
   For any problem with login details, please see the page dedicated to username and password [ITA].
2. Application
   From the menu, select “Student services” > “Applications” and follow the online procedure. Make sure you attach all the necessary documents (see below).
3. Payment of the application fee
   After your application, you are required to pay the 55 euros application fee through the PagoPA system.

Your application will be completed only after your payment is received. 
If you have an international qualification, please check all the preliminary information in the dedicated section before submitting your application (see below).

You may apply in one or a maximum of two of the two tracks in the degree program.

The following tracks are considered to be part of the program:

• Interior design
• Product and visual design

You may not simultaneously apply in Product, Visual communication, Interior design and the Fashion design and multimedia arts degree programs.

The office recommends applying using a suitable device and taking the utmost care.

You may change your track no later than April 2, 2026 13:00 CEST by sending an email to info.immatricolazioni@iuav.it.

After this date, you will no longer be able to change your preference.

The following documents are required for your application: 

All applicants:

• valid ID (front/back)

Applicants residing in Italy:

• tax code

Applicants with an international qualification:

• original language copy of your diploma or enrolment certificate with the expected final exam date (if you are about to finish your high school);
• original language copy of your transcript of records;
• translations in Italian or English of the documents listed above (except for documents that are issued in one of these two languages).

Non-EU applicants residing abroad

• an Italian language certificate at level B2 (or equivalent).

To replace any document you have already uploaded, please send the new one by email to the admission office (info.immatricolazioni@iuav.it).

It is highly recommended to submit applications well in advance.
Iuav will not be held responsible for any malfunction due to technical problems or service overloads.

General specifics

• Documents must be in PDF format
• A single document must be contained in a single PDF file (e.g. do not upload the pages of your Transcript of records separately, but create a single PDF)
• Documents must be named as such: SURNAME_type of document (e.g. SMITH_passport, SMITH_diploma, SMITH_transcript of records)

Specifics for each document

• Passport / ID: passports are preferred over IDs. 
  If you upload your ID, please provide both front and back. 
  If you upload your passport, please provide both the personal details page and the page directly above it.
• Diploma / Transcript of records: either one of your bachelor’s documents should include both your final grading scale.
