The following categories are considered institutional users, i.e. those with an ongoing academic or professional relationship with Università Iuav di Venezia:

• students enrolled on degree and Erasmus programmes, provided they are up to date with tuition fee payments;
• graduates, for up to one year after completing their degree; 
• students enrolled on Master’s and other postgraduate courses; 
• PhD candidates, for up to one year after completing their PhD; 
• academic staff (including teaching staff, researchers, and research fellows) and technical and administrative staff  

Institutional users are automatically registered with the library and are entitled to use consultation and borrowing services, using either the Iuav Card issued by the University or a valid ID card or passport.

Library registration is valid for the entire duration of the user’s institutional relationship with Università Iuav di Venezia.

To make the most of library services and ensure effective communication with the Library, it is recommended to use: 

• the Iuav Card
• the institutional email address (@stud.iuav.it or @iuav.it)
• university login details to access online services, including the Venice SBN Network Catalogue, Primo, electronic resources, and other digital resources

To log in to the Venice SBN Network Catalogue and access the available online services (loan requests, reservations, renewals, etc.), please follow the instructions below:

• click on “Log in” and authenticate using your university login details, selecting the link reserved for Iuav users;
• click on your name to access your personal user area.
