agonism
In our times of Vesper, the polarized
condition of our humanity differentiates between vagabond and tourist, wealthy
and underprivileged, liquid elite and criminalized poor. While the condition of
vagabond is associated with criminality, the idea of a tourist is associated
with consumption. Between consumption and criminality, a wide range of
approaches and attitudes towards the capital are structuring identities. Our liquid
modernity is constantly challenging the processes of constituting identity,
testing our capacity to adapt and differentiating us based on our mobility.
Therefore we should consider how are we conditioned to move, how do we approach
distances − as tourists or as vagabonds?
