Sunrise and sunset do
not only characterise the two opposite coasts of the Italian peninsula: the
Tyrrhenian and the Adriatic. They can also represent a passage of an era, the
one between the late 1970s and the 1980s: between the sunset of the ‘long
Italian 68’ (1968-1977) and the sunrise of cultural, lifestyle,
architectural experimentations of Italian postmodernism.
