All applicants not belonging to any of the categories listed on this page are considered non-EU applicants residing abroad.

To access a bachelor’s or master’s degree, non-EU applicants are required to carry out both the following steps (according to the deadlines and modalities established yearly for bachelor’s and master’s degrees):

1. Applying on the Online Desk of Università Iuav di Venezia.
2. Pre-enrolling on the Universitaly portal (“International students” > “Pre-enrol now”).

Both steps are essential as they have different purposes:

• the application on the Online Desk is necessary for admission to degree programmes;
• the Universitaly pre-enrolment is necessary to start the issuing procedures of visa; once validated by Iuav, the pre-enrolment is automatically forwarded to the diplomatic-consular mission in charge.
