You may enroll simultaneously in a maximum of two degree programs, either at the same university or at different universities or institutions of higher artistic and musical education, including those abroad.

Subject to additional restrictions, you may enroll in:

• two bachelor’s degree programs of different classes
• two master’s degree programs of different classes
• one bachelor’s degree program and one master’s degree program
• one bachelor’s or master’s degree program and one PhD program
• one bachelor’s or master’s degree program and one postgraduate’s program
• one bachelor’s or master’s degree program and one non-medical specialization program
• two postgraduate’s programs, provided they are not the same program
• one PhD program and one non-medical specialization program
• one PhD program and one medical specialization program – in this case, Article 7 of Ministerial Decree 226/2021 applies
• one postgraduate’s program and one non-medical specialization program
• one postgraduate’s program and one medical specialization program

If the enrollment concerns two bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle degree programs, they must not belong to the same class and must differ in at least two thirds (2/3) of their educational activities.

If you wish to enroll in programs at different levels, you must hold the qualifications required by national regulations and by the university’s regulations for admission to each individual program.

If you wish to enroll in two degree programs with local scheduled number limits, you must be placed in an eligible position in the ranking lists for both programs.

If one of the two programs requires mandatory attendance, you can enroll in a second course of study only if there are no attendance requirements, with the exception of courses for which mandatory attendance is required only for laboratory and internship activities.

If you participate in a mobility program leading to the award of a “double degree” you are not allowed to be simultaneously enrolled in other programs.

Full or partial exemption from student fees is available for both enrollments if the requirements set forth in the current regulations (income and/or merit) are met.

Education benefits are available for only one enrollment. If you are already enrolled in a program in years subsequent to the first, you cannot use the second enrollment as a reference for obtaining education benefits.

First, as required by law, you must self-declare:

• your intention to enroll for a second degree;
• that you are aware that your current career at the same or another university is compatible with your new career, as established by Ministerial Decree 930.

The option to self-declare this information has been activated through the "additional declarations" – Dichiarazioni aggiuntive - required for pre-enrollment in university programs.

The university subsequently verifies your declarations and, if they are found to be untrue or if your declaration conflicts with the relevant regulations, the university will deny you permission to continue.

In summary:

• Enrollment in multiple higher education programs cannot be considered "automatic": it must always be authorized by the university, even if it involves two programs included in the list of "compatible programs".
• Ministerial Decree No. 930 requires you to declare whether you intend to enroll in a second program, self-certifying that you meet the requirements and providing key information about the program of study currently underway.

The self-declaration for simultaneous enrollment can be submitted through the reserved area of ​​the online service:

Once approved by the administration, the request cannot be changed.
