The Italian Ministry of University and Research, in collaboration with CRUI (Conference of Italian University Rectors), is offering 100 annual scholarships to university students who hold international protection in Italy.

To be eligible, applicants holding international protection obtained in Italy (refugee status, subsidiary protection, or temporary protection for Ukrainian citizens) must:

• Be enrolled for the first time in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Italy for the academic year 2025/2026, by October 15, 2025;
• Alternatively, be recipients of the present scholarship in the academic year. 2024/2025, enrolled since academic year 2024/2025 in a bachelor’s or master’s degree programme, remain enrolled in the same program in a.y. 2025/26 and qualify for a renewal of the scholarship.

Applications may also be considered from candidates who completed a bachelor’s degree in Italy with the CRUI scholarship in 2024/2025 and are enrolling in a master’s degree program in 2025/2026.

This scholarship cannot be combined with other government or university scholarships.

For students in the second year or beyond, a minimum number of credits (CFU) must have been earned during the current course of study.
