Università Iuav di Venezia has created a flat fee rate system based on the ranking of household income issued by the International Monetary Fund to give international students with economic difficulties the chance to pay a fixed annual fee of 500,00 or 1.000,00 euros + regional tax 186,00 euros + stamp duty 16,00 euros depending on the student’s country of origin.

Iuav flat fee rate is incompatible with regional scholarship and tuition fee waivers based on ISEE.

According to the Iuav flat fee rate system, international students can be included in one of the following categories:

• students coming from countries with a household income higher than $ 25.000,00 are not eligible for Iuav flat fee rate
• students coming from countries with a household income between $ 25.000 and  $ 10.000: 1.000,00 euros flat fee rate + registrar’s fee: Albania, Algeria, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Aruba, Azerbaijan, Barbados, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eswatini, Fiji, Gabon, Georgia, Grenada, Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kosovo, Libya, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Namibia, Nauru, North Macedonia, Palau, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Vietnam.
• students coming from countries with a household income lower than $10.000: 500,00 euros flat fee rate + registrar’s fee: Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Belize, Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Bhutan, Cabo Verde, Cambodia, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Honduras, India, Kenya, Kiribati, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao P.D.R., Lesotho, Lebanon, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Micronesia, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Samoa, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Venezuela, West Bank and Gaza, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
