IMAGOARS, Cannaregio 883, Venice

Open from Saturday 12 September to Sunday 4 October 2026, at the Imagoars venue, Sestiere Cannaregio 883, Venice.
Opening hours: Thursday to Saturday, 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm, or by appointment.

Opening: Saturday 12 September, 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm
The exhibition stems from Gemma Turroni's thesis, supervised by Luca Trevisani, and starts from a question: is the gesture of the lullaby—that act of care promising rest and protection—still possible in a society that never switches off? The theme emerged from the artists themselves, over a year of studio visits during her curricular internship.
It is also a meeting between two Venetian schools. Fondazione Malutta was founded in 2013 in Atelier F of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, where the exhibiting artists come from. The Accademia moves from matter to thought, while Università Iuav di Venezia follows the opposite path—and here the two approaches reveal themselves to be complementary.
