A study day with experts, lecturers and students dedicated to the integrated regeneration project for coastal SIN (Sites of National Interest).
Speakers: Giorgio Peghin (University of Cagliari), Mario Sprovieri (CNR, ISMAR), Federico Vagliasindi (University of Catania), Margherita Vanore (Università Iuav di Venezia), Luca Velo (Università Iuav di Venezia).
Presenting their design studies for the SIN areas: Maria Vittoria Ceola, Federica De Sanctis, Francesco Finotto, Sofia Grossholz, Marika Iorio, Francesco Londino, Nicola Lucisano, Emiliano Manni, Pietro Melchionna, Alessandro Montagner, Emma Olivari, Youssef Ouafiq, Sibilla Palazzi, Elisa Pezzo, Fabio Toninato.
The seminar addresses, across two sessions, the themes related to the integrated regeneration project for coastal SIN sites.
The first session is dedicated to the national context, with talks by experts in biology and geochemistry, environmental sanitary engineering, and architectural and landscape design.
In the afternoon session, recent graduates and students of the Master's degree programme in Architecture present masterplans and projects developed for the SIN sites of Porto Marghera, Torviscosa (UD), Trieste, Cogoleto (GE), Piombino (LI) and Taranto.
Part of Project studio 1 (Margherita Vanore and Laura Zampieri), in coordination with Urban Planning (Luca Velo), Master's degree programme in Architecture.
