Open Data: toward a better governance of mobility and the territory

The conference Open Data: toward better governance of mobility and territory aims to highlight some of the most interesting concrete developments in the use of open data. The talks, delivered by university lecturers, start-up founders, entrepreneurs and administrators of local territories and their infrastructure, will present cases of data collection, use and sharing aimed at improving governance and decision-making capacities at territorial level, with a particular focus on mobility and climate impact mitigation. The talks will bring together the perspectives of businesses and public authorities, building a dialogue between data "creators" and data users more broadly. The aim is to highlight and share success stories in which the use of data has enabled changes to an organisation's own governance or, in turn, to the governance of the wider territory it affects, improving conditions for businesses, users and/or the general population.
The conference draws on the experience gained by an international consortium made up of four universities and four territorial partners from five European countries, together with some of the most active companies and start-ups in the sector, and marks the closing event of the Interreg CE project EnCLOD – Enhancing Governance Capacities of Local Authorities Using Open Data.

Simultaneous interpreting from English into Italian and vice versa will be provided.
