Liminal milieux is a transdisciplinary seminar that combines design, critical theory, contemporary philosophy, spatial design, and multimedia arts. It is a first attempt to create a space for open dialogue between the disciplines of design and neo-materialist approaches; a collective exercise in perception, before being one in method. It is a shared endeavor aimed at dissolving the assumed neutrality of infrastructures and algorithms, as well as that of non-human bodies and subjectivities.
In the afternoon, the abstracts selected through the call for abstracts — which remains open until 4 September 2026 — will be presented, in dialogue with the themes that emerged during the morning session.
