Exercising climate relationality

The ecological relationality between bodies, fashion, and climates becomes a tool for cultivating attunement in Giulia Ciola’s PhD research. Through a series of Atmospheric Fashion Exercises, she challenges established design logics rooted in dualistic perspectives, redirecting attention towards the experience of the dressed body as situated within its environment. Drawing on the relational framework of atmosphere, she will introduce an activity that invites participants to explore how fashion practitioners can design for and imagine future climates.
