A transfer out consists of an outgoing transfer requested by a student enrolled at Università Iuav di Venezia who intends to continue their studies at another university.
Students who wish to request a transfer out should gather information independently regarding deadlines, procedures, and timeframes for completing the transfer to the receiving university, and enquire whether a clearance certificate (nulla osta) is needed.
Before submitting a transfer request, students must ensure that all completed exams have been correctly recorded. Should you notice any discrepancies, please send an email to firma.digitale@iuav.it.
Once the transfer application has been submitted, students may no longer sit any exams.

A transfer request can only be processed if the student's tuition fee payments are up to date.
The application must therefore be submitted before the payment deadline for the first instalment of the academic year to avoid incurring Iuav tuition fees for that year.
Students who submit their transfer application after the above-mentioned deadline will be required to pay the first instalment to Iuav as well as the tuition fees of the receiving university.
It is possible to submit an application and supplement it later according to the procedure detailed below.
The formal transfer application is subject to a 16-euro stamp duty (marca da bollo da 16 euro) that needs to be purchased by the student and affixed directly onto the document. The application form must be printed out, signed, and sent by standard post to:

To determine whether the first instalment of the new academic year is due, the official date of receipt at the university registry (protocollo) will apply.

Students who can only obtain their clearance certificate after the first instalment deadline must still submit their initial transfer application before that deadline to avoid paying Iuav tuition fees. Once received, a scanned copy of the clearance certificate must be emailed to studenti.carriere@iuav.it.
