via un concorso per la produzione di un video sull’Ateneo
veneziano dedicato al progetto |
Si può racchiudere Iuav in un frammento?
Questa la sfida lanciata dal concorso
“Iuav in a frame”, voluto dal rettore Iuav Alberto Ferlenga tra
le molte iniziative per il 90esimo dell’ateneo.
Il concorso è aperto a tutti coloro che
conoscono, frequentano o hanno frequentato l'Università Iuav di Venezia (studenti,
docenti, personale, visitatori…) e che sono invitati a realizzare un
video di un minuto capace di raccontare uno specifico frammento di Iuav.
Alcune domande possono essere il fil rouge
per una ricostruzione a più voci della storia e della vita
dell’ateneo: cosa è lo Iuav? Come è cambiato negli ultimi anni? Come
viene percepito da chi lo vive o lo ha vissuto da studente, da docente, da
tecnico, da dirigente o da semplice visiting? Quali sono gli spazi più
amati o più vissuti del campus? Che relazioni ha lo Iuav con Venezia?
I video saranno valutati da una giuria di
esperti, di cui fanno parte il rettore Alberto Ferlenga, i docenti Marco
Bertozzi, Fernanda De Maio, Carmelo Marabello (Iuav) e Pippo Ciorra (Università
di Camerino), i registi Ila Beka e Louise Lemoine.
In palio un premio del valore di 1000 euro per
il primo video classificato e di 500 euro per il secondo. I video vincitori
saranno pubblicati nel sito www.iuav.it/iuavinaframe.
I materiali migliori saranno esposti con una
specifica installazione all’interno di uno spazio dedicato e verranno
presentati in occasione di due serate a tema.
“Iuav in a frame” non è solo un
concorso: è anche una call per raccogliere materiale documentario su Iuav
(immagini, materiale audiovisivo, testi), con l’obiettivo di realizzare
un film/documentario sull’Ateneo nel suo 90esimo.
Ed è infine un ciclo di tre conferenze
di autori di cinema che lavorano sullo sconfinamento tra più arti per
raccontare i paesaggi, le città e l’architettura contemporanei.
Inaugureranno il 27 giugno con “Living
Architecture” Ila Beka e Louise Lemoine, videomaker di culto nel
mondo dell’architettura europea.

competition for a video about the Università Iuav di Venezia
Can the
Università Iuav di Venezia be represented in a fragment?
This is the
challenge set by the video competition “Iuav in a frame”,
promoted by the Rector of Iuav Alberto Ferlenga, among several initiatives for
Iuav’s 90th Anniversary.
The
competition is open to those people who, in various ways, are attending or have
attended Iuav University of Venice, or those who just know the Iuav University
context (such as student, teacher, employees, managers or simply
visitors…). All those wishing to participate have to submit a video with
a maximum duration of 1 minute representing a specific fragment of Iuav.
Some
questions may be useful to retrace, through many voices, the history and
academic life of Iuav University: What is Iuav? How has it changed in recent
years? How do people who experience it or have experienced it as student,
teacher, employees, managers or simply visitors perceive it? Which are the most
beloved spaces or more lively ones within the campus? Which relationship has
Iuav with Venice?
Videos will
be evaluated by an expert Jury composed of the Iuav University Rector Alberto
Ferlenga and Professors Marco Bertozzi, Fernanda De Maio, Carmelo Marabello
(Iuav University of Venice), Pippo Ciorra (University of Camerino), and Film
makers Ila Beka and Louise Lemoine.
The
Commission will award a prize of 1000.00 euros for the best video and a prize
of 500.00 euros for the second place. Awarded videos will be published on the
website: www.iuav.it/iuavinframe
The best
materials will be exposed in a particular installation in one of the exhibition
spaces of Iuav University, and presented in two special evenings dedicated to
the theme.
“Iuav
in a frame” is not only a Video competition: it is also a call for archival documents related to Iuav
University, with the aim of making a
film/documentary about Iuav in his 90th Anniversary.
The
initiative includes three conferences
held by cinema’s authors working on the topics of landscapes,
contemporary cities and architecture in a cross-disciplinary research.
Beka and
Louise Lemoine,
well known film makers in the field of European architecture, will open the
events on June 27, 2016, presenting their film “Living Architecture.
