Mi sono candidato come rappresentante degli studenti fin dal liceo, perché credo che la rappresentanza studentesca sia l’opportunità per costruire il dialogo che metta in moto i cambiamenti che ci auguriamo. Credo che per creare la scuola più inclusiva e accessibile che ci serve, sia necessario contribuire a questo dialogo costantemente.

 

Seguendo una carriera accademica, un domani vorrei trovarmi a continuare questa discussione anche dall’altro canto del coro studenti-docenti.

 

Credo nella missione culturale del senato degli studenti, che con la call for ideas, permette di realizzare le potenzialità che impariamo a costruire nelle diverse discipline del progetto. Penso che questa iniziativa sia un’occasione considerevole per vedere immediatamente se le competenze che acquisiamo possono portare frutto, o creare relazioni tra i diversi ambiti nel processo. Questa è solo una delle modalità in cui è possibile creare comunità, fare esperienza, e produrre cultura, nello spazio sicuro che è l’università, ma potendosi affacciare alla finestra che dall’aula guarda tutto l’ateneo, e magari anche più in là.

I have been a student representative since high school because I believe it is an opportunity to build the kind of dialogue that sets in motion the changes we all hope for. To create a more inclusive and accessible environment, we need to contribute to this dialogue constantly.

 

As I am pursuing an academic career, one day I would like to find myself continuing this debate on the other side of the student-teacher debate.

 

I believe in the cultural mission of the student senate: the call for ideas allows us to fulfil the potential we build in the different fields of study. It is a remarkable opportunity to immediately determine whether the skills we acquire can be fruitful and create relationships between different areas in the process. This is only one of many ways of creating a community, sharing experiences, and creating a culture in the university safe space while still being able to open a window on the entire university and perhaps even further afield.
