Undergraduate and graduate programmes offered by the University iuav of Venice:

Gabriele Toneguzzi, PhD in design and MSc eq. in architecture, work mainly in the fields of architecture, museum and exhibit, industrial design.

Peer reviewer for some scientific journals, correspondent from 2006 for the Italian 'Il Giornale dell’Architettura', paper edition and then collaborator of online edition, he frequently writes essays and articles about architecture, industrial and railway design.

He has taught in many universities, including: University of Rome 'La Sapienza', University of Florence, University of Ferrara, University of Padua, Iuav University of Venice, San Marino State University and collaborated also with the Chalmers Tekniska Högskola (Chalmers Technical University) of Göteborg.

His research interests are highly varied: thanks to personal curiosity and like a real jack-of-all-trades, he can juggle a wide range of subjects within the design field, but with a particular fondness for his core-business: the museum and exhibit domain; however, he is also interested in history, graphics, interaction and very unusual areas, such as railway vehicles

Among his most recent works there are a strategic revitalization plan of cultural heritage for a less populated areas in the far north east of Italy, the innovative preservation of a prominent ancient venetian Villa and the provision of the new museum inside, as well an important historical essay about a unique German Totenburg.
