Giada Cipollone è ricercatrice a tempo determinato (Rtd-A) all’Università Iuav di Venezia. È stata assegnista di ricerca e docente a contratto all’Università di Pavia, dove ha insegnato “Regia e scrittura scenica nel teatro contemporaneo”. Dal 2019 al 2022 è stata postdoctoral research fellow all’Università Iuav di Venezia nell’ambito del progetto ERC “INCOMMON. In praise of community. Shared creativity in arts and politics in Italy (1959-1979)”, diretto da Annalisa Sacchi. Ha conseguito il titolo di dottore di ricerca all’Università di Pavia nel 2019 con una tesi dedicata alla ritrattistica e alla fotografia di scena in Italia. Nel 2018 è stata visiting scholar con la supervisione di David Bate alla Westminster University of London. È membro del gruppo di ricerca del centro studi “Self Media Lab. Scritture, performance e tecnologie del Sé”, fondato e diretto da Federica Villa e del comitato direttivo dell’International Summer School “La cura della memoria”. Ha fatto parte del comitato di redazione della rivista “Sciami | Ricerche”, diretta da Valentina Valentini e scrive di danza, teatro e performance per il magazine di Triennale Milano. Fa parte della piattaforma di scambio di pratiche e ricerche “Nobody’s Indiscipline”, curata da Annamaria Ajmone e Sara Leghissa. Nel 2022 ha ottenuto il “Seal of excellence” nell’ambito del programma “Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions”.

Giada Cipollone is assistant professor (Rtd-A) at Università Iuav di Venezia. She has previously held positions as a research assistant and adjunct professor at the University of Pavia. From 2019 to 2022, she served as a postdoctoral research fellow at Università Iuav di Venezia within the framework of the ERC project "INCOMMON: In praise of community. Shared creativity in arts and politics in Italy (1959-1979)," directed by Annalisa Sacchi. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Pavia in 2019 with a thesis focusing on portraiture and stage photography in Italy. In 2018, she was a visiting scholar under the supervision of David Bate at Westminster University of London. She is a member of the research group at the "Self Media Lab. Writings, performances, and technologies of the Self," founded and directed by Federica Villa, and serves on the steering committee of the International Summer School "Memory Care." She was part of the editorial board of the journal "Sciami | Ricerche," directed by Valentina Valentini, and writes about dance, theater, and performance for the magazine of Triennale Milano. She is also involved in the exchange platform for practices and research called "Nobody's Indiscipline," curated by Annamaria Ajmone and Sara Leghissa. In 2022, she received the "Seal of Excellence" within the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme.
