Undergraduate and graduate programmes offered by the University iuav of Venice:

 

Education: Carlo obtained a high-school diploma in Civil Engineering, then graduated in Quantitative Economics from the University of Modena. Later, he became Research Doctor in Statistical Methodology from the University of Padova. He carried out post-doctoral research at the European University Institute.

Teaching: He was a lecturer in Statistics at the University of Modena; now, he is a Professor at Università Iuav di Venezia, Faculty of Planning. He teaches Basic Statistics and Spatial Statistics in the programmes of Territorial & Urban Planning and Geographic Information Systems.

Research: His research interests concern statistical analysis and modelling of temporal, spatial and spatiotemporal data, including point processes and digital images. He focuses on aspects of estimation, forecasting, mapping and control. He has published several papers in international journals.
