Il convento di Santa Teresa sorse nella seconda metà del XVII secolo. Il complesso edilizio è molto ampio e si sviluppa intorno ad un unico grande chiostro, caratterizzato da portici e logge ad arcate.

L’ex-convento è stato restaurato tra la fine degli anni Novanta e l’inizio del Duemila,

con opere di ristrutturazione e adeguamento architettonico necessarie per ospitare le attività di didattica e di ricerca che vi avrebbero trovato sede ma rispettando le caratteristiche formali, distributive e strutturali tipiche di un convento seicentesco.

The convent of Santa Teresa was built in the second half of the seventeenth century. The building complex develops around a single large cloister, characterised by arched porticos.

The former convent was restored by Università Iuav di Venezia in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with renovations and architectural adaptations that maintained the formal, distributive and structural features typical of a seventeenth-century convent.
