Alexandra Palmer

Dr. Alexandra Palmer is the Nora E. Vaughan Senior Curator, Textiles & Costume at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). She received her BA in Art History from the University of Toronto (1979); her MA in Costume and Textile History from New York University, in conjunction with the Metropolitan Museum of Art (1981); and her PhD in Design History from the University of Brighton (1994). Alexandra has lectured on fashion internationally and is currently on the scientific committee for the 3rd Costume Colloquium to be held in November 2012 in Florence.
