Announcement of comparative evaluation for admission to the Iuav School of
Doctorate Studies – Doctorate course Architecture, City and Design academic year 2020/2021
Places reserved for holders of scholarships granted
by foreign universities, other foreign institutions or international mobility
programs
Places available: seven reserved for holders of
scholarship granted by foreign universities or other institutions; one reserved for holders of scholarship
granted by international mobility programs
Deadline for
presenting application for the comparative evaluation:
7th
September 2020 at 12.00.
The comparative
evaluation procedure is divided into two phases. The first consists in
evaluating candidates’ qualifications, while the second envisages an oral
test to be taken by candidates who have obtained a score of at least 22 out of
40 in the first phase.
Documents to be uploaded at the risk of exclusion
> application form
duly signed and filled in (attachment 2bis);
> photocopy of
a valid identity card or passport;
> curriculum vitae
in A4 format including information about education, research, didactics,
participation in conferences, list of scientific publications;
> letter written
by the candidate (maximum length: 10.000 characters, spaces included) providing
reasons for participating in the course and a description of the research theme
he/she proposes to deal with (the proposal is only indicative);
> letter written
according to the Annex 7 attesting the candidate possesses a scholarship
granted by his/her university, the government of his/her country or any other
foreign private or public institution.
> degree certification
translated either into Italian or into English;
> certificated list
of the exams translated either into Italian or into English.
Optional documents
> candidate’s thesis
or abstract;
> portfolio;
> letters of
introduction written by university lecturers, scholars or renowned
professionals;
> scientific publications
(maximum 5)
> any other
documentation the candidate considers relevant for the evaluation of degrees
obtained abroad (for instance diploma supplement, syllabus, ENIC_NARIC
certifications).
Every year
candidates admitted to the course shall pay a regional tax established by the
Region Veneto.
