The duration of the master is one year with 556 teaching hours (from January to July 2009), 544 hours for individual work and 400 hours for internship and thesis (from August to November 2009). Students will earn a first level university Master degree in Medical Design which is worth 60 university credits.
In particular, 12 credits will be given for the two series of seminars, 8 credits for each of the 4 thematic design workshops, and 16 credits for the internship and final thesis project, upon successful completion of exams and verifications. In order to receive the master degree, it is also necessary to have attended at least 70% of all educational courses and activities.
Students who have successfully completed a master degree in Medical Design and who plan to enrol in the graduate degree programmes in Product Design or in Visual and Multimedia Design at the Iuav University of Venice, will have 40 credits recognized. |
