Admission to the master programme is limited to a maximum number of 25 students. In order for the programme to be activated, a minimum of 15 students must enrol. Enrolment is open to individuals in possession of the following degrees and/or titles:

·    a university degree received in accordance with the educational regulations provided by the Italian ministerial decree 509/1999 in Industrial Design, Architecture and Engineering;

·    a university diploma in Industrial Design received in accordance with the regulations provided by the Italian ministerial decree 509/1999;

·    a 3-year undergraduate degree in accordance with the regulations of the Italian ministerial

·    decree 509/1999 in classes 42 “industrial design”, 4 “architecture and construction engineering”, and all classes of Engineering;

·    a degree from a foreign university that is officially recognised as equivalent to one of the above mentioned degrees, for the sole scope of admission to the master programme in medical design. Foreign degree titles must be translated, notarised and certified by a qualified Italian representative.

The tuition fee for the master programme in medical design should be paid in one single instalment upon enrolment. It is 3,514,62 Euro including the required fiscal stamp for residents in a country of the European Union and 9,814,62 Euro including the required fiscal stamp for residents outside the European Union.

In addition to the 25 students admitted to the master programme, a maximum of 5 additional students can be admitted to each single thematic design workshop. The enrolment fee for each single thematic workshop is 1,000 Euro.

Admission selection

Admission selection for the master programme is based on the evaluation of candidates’ educational titles/degrees and on their professional and scientific experience. The admissions committee is made up of three members and is nominated via decree of the Dean of Faculty of Arts and Design. In evaluating individual candidates the committee assigns a maximum of 100 points as follows:

The results list of the selection process is made up of the total points of each candidate. In case of equal points the younger candidate ranks first.
